PrepVerse is a free computer science preparation site. This page explains what data the site uses and why.

Analytics (only with your consent)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It is off by default and only starts if you press Accept on the cookie banner. You can decline and the site works the same. Your choice is stored in your browser (localStorage key pv-consent).

Sign-in

Signing in is optional and handled by Firebase Authentication (Google, GitHub or anonymous). If you sign in we receive the basic profile your provider shares (name, email, avatar) to show your profile page. We do not sell or share it.

Data stored in your browser

• Theme and tutorial preferences (language, layout, progress).
• Your cookie-consent choice.
• A short-lived cache of public GitHub data (session storage).

Third-party services

• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (only after consent).
• Firebase Authentication (only if you sign in).
• Algolia DocSearch (search queries are sent to Algolia).
• Giscus (comments on documentation pages, powered by GitHub Discussions; loaded from giscus.app and only used if you choose to comment with a GitHub account).
• Google Fonts and jsDelivr (fonts and math styles).
• GitHub and LeetCode public APIs (public statistics).

Your choices
